Social Inclusion - Inclusive growth what does it mean?
When Kevin Rudd became Prime Minister he established the Social Inclusion Advisory Board in 2009. This was in line with European and British social policy thinking, which since the 1970s, have been using this terminology and putting it into practice. Social Inclusion in practice is often done through employment. For some obtaining employment is more difficult than for others. It is important in an inclusive community that everyone has the right to housing, food, a safe environment and employment opportunities. Further to this is the notion of inclusive growth.
